Hi guys, Cyrellys - moderator from OMF here.

Welcome to Compass Morainn.

This board is for your use to continue as a community while the disaster of the Open Minds Forum suspension is sorted out.

Here is where we are at:

OMF was suspended today due to: "Section 25(a) of the ProBoards Terms of Service"

I am currently in contact with Greatwaller, and Agent 99 on the matter. I have not yet heard from Bren. I have opened this site to all members for continuing your threads and conversations in the interm until it is determined what the community will be doing from this point forward.

As guests of Compass Morainn, I ask everyone please treat each other civilly in the spirit of what this organization represents. Debate is welcome, headhunting is not and will be dealt with. The usual forum rules apply. Feel free to create your own threads within this board or participate in any of CM's specialty subjects beyond it.

I will be updating here regularly as I learn what is going on. You may also join an email list specifically for updates: cyrellys@dishmail.net

If you have any other questions or concerns you are also welcome to p.m. me. I will be in all night tonight.

I'm just now getting up and moving. Here's a message I received via email this morning that even though addressed to me really apply's to all of OMF Members & Staff. It's from a mediator and CM Member:

Ok here's what I think we should do with regards to posting about what has happened...I don't have a problem with discussing it at all...absolutely I think we should, but I think we need to do so in a way that doesn't include specific names....exchange those via pm if needed guys...that way we avoid the PB host Company wrath of Khan.
