I cried buckets when I found out he died… which was a few days later. Even now as I’m typing this, I’m so overwhelmed with emotion just bringing this up but just thought I would mention it because he was a valuable and respected member of that forum in every sense of the word. He was really special, ya know? No question about that regardless if you agreed or disagreed on his POV's on this or that -- only the best on that board would even debate with him and for good reason too and it didn't make any difference if he was right or wrong on any given issue.... he just had an uncanny knack for knocking down his opponents. Lol. RIP Eth... you are still missed.. always!

I held a high regard for him despite the rough edges that appeared on the forum as opinions were lobbed into the digital abyss/wind. Still, all of our days are numbered - that expiration date etched on our souls while the crimson counter removes us ever so silently.... He has just moved on to different 'from' - watching in a soft sadness to each of our personal struggles - towards the truth.... |

Wow! This is amazing! So the old OMF board is up now? Just viewed it and let me tell you! .... that was so surreal seeing it again. I've been really busy over the past couple of months and this is the first time I've logged on here since my last post... a belated thanks Cy! You are really something else, you know? lol ... and mdonnall, your comments about ETH and the first year anniversary date of his passing are right on target and most of all, from the heart.

Your most welcome A99. Dan is making good use of the new OMF. You're welcome to do so as well. I've posted a bit on it to help it develop. You can reach the Archive through Archive I in the menu at the top left column. I haven't finished putting links in all the subject boards to their corresponding original material in the archive. If you get bored and have time you're welcome to help with that. I haven't had time to do alot in advertising the new OMF. There's still plenty that can be done in that respect too. Someone could visit the various ufo and other sister subject forums and try to locate the scattered membership. Articles could be written about its return and links could be spread through places like Digg. Like I said I just haven't had much time here in last several weeks to devote to it yet.
